FH Gießen

The Fachhochschule Gießen-Friedberg is renowned for future-oriented educational tracks in the economic and technical sciences. Innovation based on tradition is the school’s motto. The institution was founded in 1971, but has roots reaching back into the 19th and early 20th century, when engineering colleges were first established in Gießen and Friedberg. Today the main fields of studies at the Fachhochschule are economic and technical sciences.
