Sign up now for the March 2010 POWERLINK plug-fest

 

On March 24 and 25, 2010, the EPSG technology center in Berlin will host the next POWERLINK plug-fest, which will give manufacturers of POWERLINK-compatible devices an opportunity to certify their products. The certification has been jointly developed by the EPSG and “Institute of Embedded Systems”, the certification laboratory of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Plug-fest participants will use a special certification Master to test the reaction of Slaves to all kinds of communication errors. The manufacturers will also perform single tests and cross-checks against various Master solutions in order to check for the correct functioning of their basic stacks. Registrations are accepted until March 1. Participants who are not members of the EPSG are charged a 2,000 Euro certification fee. For members, the EPSG will cover the cost of a first-time certification for a product or product group.
